Headlining Power Slap 12 – the second of a five-event residency at Fontainebleau Las Vegas – will be a middleweight title rematch between current Power Slap Middleweight Champion Isaih “The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy” Quinones (4-2, 4 KOs) and No. 2 ranked contender Branden “The Butcher” Bordeaux (3-1). The Puerto Rican Pretty Boy, who is on an impressive run of four consecutive KOs, aims to secure another highlight-reel finish to prove once and for all that he is the best middleweight in the world. Bordeaux plans to make the most of his second opportunity at the belt and exact a measure of revenge against Quinones and begin his reign as the new world champion. Their first match was electrifying, with both slap fighters scoring knockdowns and Quinones coming away with a KO victory.

In the co-main event, for the first time, the lightweight title is on the line as Robert “The Real Deal” Trujillo (4-0, 4 KOs) and Dakota “The Maritime Menace” McGregor (2-0, 2 KOs) face off in a pivotal match to become the inaugural lightweight champion. Trujillo is undefeated in Power Slap and has never seen a third round, thrilling fans with performances over Dallas Marron and Jewel Scott, among others. McGregor, also undefeated in Power Slap, sets out to make a statement and replicate the success he had against Anthony DeFrank and Reiley Montoya in a title-claiming effort. Trujillo served as a coach on Season 3 of “Power Slap: Road to the Title,” in which Dakota McGregor also participated as a member of the opposing team.

Additional matches on the card include:

  • No. 1 ranked heavyweight Dorian “Disturbing the Peace” Perez (5-3, 2 KOs) aims to defend his spot in the rankings against No. 5 ranked heavyweight Pono “Da Hawaiian Assassin” Pau (2-1, 2 KOs)
  • The return of former champion and No. 4 ranked welterweight Christapher “KO Chris” Thomas (5-2, 5 KOs) faces off with No. 8 ranked welterweight Christopher “Full Metal” Debow (2-2)
  • No. 4 ranked lightweight Anthony “Da Kiing” Defrank (1-1, 1 KO) takes on No. 7 ranked lightweight Reiley “Slap Shady” Montoya (0-2)
  • No. 4 ranked heavyweight James “The Iron Chin” Siekmann (2-1, 1 KO) collides with No.7 ranked heavyweight Aaron “The Colossus” Turner (1-0, 1 KO)
  • No. 4 ranked middleweight Wesley “All the Smoke” Drain (5-5, 3 KOs) and No. 6 ranked middleweight Ke’ali’i “The Chief” Kanekoa (2-1, 2 KO’s) face off in a pivotal match

The remainder of the Power Slap 12 card will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dan Hellie will call the action alongside former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping. Charly Arnolt will handle reporting duties. The ring announcer will be Justin Bernard.
