LAS VEGAS (March 23, 2026) — Power Slap is planting its flag firmly on the Las Vegas Strip.

The rapidly growing slap fighting promotion has announced a five-year live event residency and partnership with MGM Resorts International, establishing the entertainment giant as the exclusive “Official Home of Power Slap” in Las Vegas from 2026 through 2030. The agreement will bring four live Power Slap events annually to MGM Resorts venues, beginning with Power Slap 19 on Friday, April 17 at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Additional 2026 dates are already scheduled, with Power Slap 20 set for May 15 and Power Slap 21 slated for July 10 as part of International Fight Week. A fourth event later in the year will be announced at a future date. Beyond the fights themselves, the partnership promises enhanced fan engagement, including exclusive on-site experiences and premium hospitality offerings.

Since its launch three years ago, Power Slap has surged into global prominence, amassing more than 30 million followers and generating over 25 billion views across social and digital platforms. Known for its viral knockouts, sold-out events, and strong celebrity and influencer presence, the promotion now aligns with one of the most established names in combat sports hosting.

“MGM Resorts International has a long history hosting the biggest and best combat sporting events,” said Power Slap founder Dana White. “It’s been home to UFC for decades, and starting in April, it becomes the home of Power Slap. This sport continues to explode, and a partnership with a legacy brand like MGM just shows how big Power Slap has become in such a short amount of time.”

Ryan Abboushi, President of Entertainment for MGM Resorts International, echoed that enthusiasm.

“Power Slap has quickly become one of the most popular combat sports worldwide,” Abboushi said. “We look forward to adding Power Slap to our sports programming portfolio and delivering memorable experiences for fans at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan.”

The first event under the new partnership, VeChain Power Slap 19: Da Hawaiian Hitman vs. Manu, presented by Monster Energy, takes place during WrestleMania Weekend in Las Vegas and features a pair of high-stakes title bouts.

In the main event, reigning Super Heavyweight champion Dayne “Da Hawaiian Hitman” Viernes (3-2) defends his title against undefeated No. 1 contender Makini “Big Mak” Manu (5-0). With a combined weight exceeding 800 pounds, both competitors have built reputations for devastating, knockout power and granite durability.

The co-main event will see Heavyweight champion Damien “The Bell” Dibbell (7-1) face off against challenger Darius “The Destroyer” Mata-Varona (14-3). Dibbell has dominated the division with more than 1,000 days as champion and seven consecutive victories, while Mata-Varona — a pioneer of the sport and former coach on Power Slap: Road to the Title — enters the bout riding a three-fight win streak as he looks to reclaim the top spot.

Tickets for Power Slap 19 are currently available via Ticketmaster. All bouts are live and subject to change.
