Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) just made one of its biggest moves yet—officially signing Britain’s undefeated WBC lightweight world champion and 2020 Olympian “Sweet” Caroline Dubois (11-0-1, 5 KOs). The 24-year-old phenom will make her promotional debut on Friday, December 19, defending her WBC title against Italy’s Camila Panatta (8-2-1, 1 KO) on the preliminary card of Jake vs. Joshua: Judgment Day at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

Dubois’ arrival adds immediate firepower to MVP’s already star-studded lineup of elite British talent, joining fellow standouts Ellie Scotney, Chantelle Cameron, Terri Harper, Savannah Marshall, Ramla Ali, and Shannon Courtenay. The signing reinforces MVP’s strategic push to elevate UK women’s boxing into a global powerhouse.

A BLUE-CHIP SIGNING TO STRENGTHEN MVP’S GLOBAL PLAN

In a move long anticipated within the boxing world, MVP secured what Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian called “the most coveted free agent in women’s boxing.” Dubois brings championship pedigree, Olympic experience, and crossover star potential to the roster.

“Signing with MVP is the next step in my career,” Dubois said. “The mission must be to become the face of women’s boxing. I’m excited to make my debut on MVP and Netflix on December 19—winning, and winning in style.”

Co-founders Paul and Bidarian echoed the excitement, calling Dubois a “champion, an Olympian and a rising star” whose signing strengthens MVP’s long-term vision of building a premier global brand in women’s boxing. The team also hinted at a major MVP UK event in early 2026, likely featuring Dubois as a centerpiece attraction.

THE ROAD TO MIAMI: DUBOIS’ DOMINANT RISE

Dubois’ amateur résumé reads like a blueprint for future greatness:

  • 2018 Youth Olympic Games gold medalist
  • England’s first World Youth Champion
  • Four-time European Youth Champion (2016–2019)
  • BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year (2019)
  • 2020 Olympian, reaching the quarter-finals

Since turning pro in 2022, she’s climbed quickly:

  • 2023: Won the IBO lightweight world title
  • 2024: Captured the WBC Interim lightweight title, later elevated to full WBC lightweight champion
  • 2025: Most recent defense came via majority decision over Bo Mi Re Shin

Now, at 24 and undefeated, Dubois enters the MVP era targeting unification fights and global headliner opportunities.

THE CHALLENGER: CAMILA PANATTA BRINGS EXPERIENCE AND FIRE

Italy’s Camila Panatta may not be the betting favorite, but she’s no stranger to world-level preparation.

A southpaw with European fundamentals and Mexican-style grit, Panatta sharpened her craft fighting in Europe and Mexico while developing a high-volume, body-focused attack. Her biggest résumé bullet? Serving as a primary sparring partner for undisputed champion Katie Taylor during both Serrano mega-fight camps, including their historic Madison Square Garden showdown.

Panatta has held the WBC Latin featherweight title, challenged for the WBA Gold featherweight belt, and competed in the Team Combat League. Now training out of West Palm Beach and fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish, she embraces the moment.

“This fight isn’t just a fight for me,” Panatta said. “It’s the moment where my whole story finds its meaning.”

THE CARD: JAKE VS. JOSHUA TAKES CENTER STAGE

Dubois vs. Panatta lands on the undercard of one of the year’s most talked-about events:

Jake Paul vs. Anthony Joshua — Judgment Day
December 19 • Kaseya Center, Miami
Streaming exclusively on Netflix

The main event pits Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) against two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony “AJ” Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) in a cruiserweight clash that has the global combat sports world buzzing.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and Dubois will participate in all official fight week events.

WHAT’S NEXT

A successful—and stylish—title defense could open the door to major unification bouts or even a headline slot on MVP’s projected UK card in 2026. For now, Dubois steps into Miami with the ambition to become nothing less than the face of women’s boxing.
