Las Vegas – UFC® is bringing the fireworks to Texas this fall as NOCHE UFC: LOPES vs. SILVA lands at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio on Saturday, September 13, headlined by a high-stakes featherweight clash between surging contenders No. 3 Diego Lopes and No. 10 Jean Silva. The event celebrates Mexican Independence Day and promises a card stacked with top-tier talent and action-packed matchups.
The main card will stream live exclusively on ESPN+ in both English and Spanish, with prelims starting at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT, followed by the main card at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT.

Fresh off a trio of thrilling finishes over top-tier opponents, Mexico-based featherweight standout Diego Lopes (26-7) looks to keep his momentum rolling in front of a partisan crowd. Known for his slick submissions and explosive striking, Lopes has finished UFC contenders Sodiq Yusuff, Pat Sabatini, and Gavin Tucker with style — and now seeks to be the first man to hand Silva a UFC loss.
Brazilian phenom Jean Silva (16-2), riding a wave of highlight-reel knockouts, isn’t coming to play spoiler — he’s coming to steal the spotlight. With 15 finishes in 16 wins, including stoppages of Bryce Mitchell, Melsik Baghdasaryan, and Drew Dober, Silva is one of the most feared rising contenders in the division and is eager to crash the featherweight Top 5.

The strawweight title picture gets serious when elite grappler Tatiana Suarez (11-1) takes on lethal striker Amanda Lemos (15-4-1) in a pivotal contenders’ bout. Suarez, undefeated at 115 pounds, has toppled three former champions — Jessica Andrade, Carla Esparza, and Alexa Grasso — and is now eyeing a title shot.
But Lemos, who holds the record for most knockdowns in UFC strawweight history (6), isn’t backing down. With knockouts over Mackenzie Dern, Iasmin Lucindo, and Marina Rodriguez, she’s looking to make a statement and prove she belongs at the top.
