UFC is officially heading back to Philadelphia.
The promotion announced that UFC 330 will take place on Saturday, August 15 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The announcement was made by UFC President and CEO Dana White, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Pennsylvania native Pat McAfee during McAfee’s show.
The soon-to-be-announced fight card will stream exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States and Latin America. Ticket information for the event is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
UFC Returns to Philadelphia for Championship Event
UFC 330 marks the promotion’s first return to the arena for a numbered pay-per-view style event in fifteen years.
The last numbered card held at the venue came on August 6, 2011, when UFC 133 — then hosted at the Wells Fargo Center — was headlined by Rashad Evans vs. Tito Ortiz.
Philadelphia most recently hosted a UFC Fight Night on March 30, 2019, where Justin Gaethje scored a knockout victory over Edson Barboza in a bout that earned Fight of the Night honors.
Dana White Excited to Return
Dana White praised Philadelphia’s passionate sports culture and timing of the return.
“Philadelphia is hosting some of the biggest sporting events this year as part of the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary. It’s been fifteen years since the UFC brought a numbered event to the city, so now is the perfect time to go back. Philadelphia has always been a great fight town, and I can’t wait to return.”
Pennsylvania Showcasing Global Events
Governor Josh Shapiro emphasized the importance of UFC 330 as part of a massive year for the Commonwealth.
“Pennsylvania is thrilled to host UFC 330 in Philadelphia, the first time a championship bout is coming back to the Commonwealth in fifteen years. This is a huge year for Pennsylvania – all eyes are on the Commonwealth as we celebrate America 250 and host some of the biggest sporting events in the world in the place where it all started.”
He also highlighted the state’s growing list of marquee events, including:
- NFL Draft in Pittsburgh
- PGA Championship in Newtown Square
- FIFA World Cup in Philadelphia
- NCAA March Madness events
- UFC 330
Philadelphia a Perfect Fit for UFC
Daniel J. Hilferty, Chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor, said the city’s identity makes it an ideal host.
“This is a city defined by its underdog mentality, its fighting spirit, and its championship pedigree. There is perhaps no more fitting stage for UFC 330 in 2026.”
UFC Expanding Through Major Partnerships
The Philadelphia event is part of UFC’s expanding strategy of partnering with governments and private organizations to bring major events to cities worldwide. UFC says more announcements are expected throughout 2026.
