By MMA Fight Coverage Penny Buffington – June 2, 2025
Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) continues its momentum with the announcement of additional high-stakes bouts for the upcoming Most Valuable Prospects 13 Championship Edition, taking place Saturday, June 7, at the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando, FL, and streaming live worldwide on DAZN.
Headlined by a 10-round IBF Lightweight World Title clash between Brazil’s undefeated Beatriz “The Beast” Ferreira (6-0, 2 KOs) and Argentina’s Maria Ines “Dinamita” Ferreyra (11-0-1, 6 KOs), MVP 13 showcases a truly international lineup of rising stars.
🥊 Main Card Additions: Canada vs. Mexico and More
Leading off the main card is a compelling 6-round bantamweight bout featuring Canada’s #5 WBA-ranked Bree “Bam Bam” Howling (8-0, 2 KOs) against Mexico’s undefeated Naomy “Kusa” Cardenas (8-0, 2 KOs). Howling, returning to MVP after her victory at MVP 8, looks to extend her perfect record against Cardenas, who steps into her first international pro bout from Chihuahua, Mexico.
Also joining the main card:
- Keno Marley, MVP’s newest signee and a 2x Brazilian Olympian, makes his professional debut at cruiserweight (200 lbs) against Sean Sparks (2-0, 2 KOs) of Weslaco, TX.
- Brazilian lightweight standout Luan Almeida (5-0, 4 KOs) battles Florida native Tony Aguilar (13-1-1, 4 KOs) in an 8-round clash at 135 lbs.
🌟 Preliminary Card Spotlight: Ingram Headlines, Chaparro Returns
Orlando’s own Antraveous Ingram (10-0, 5 KOs) headlines the preliminary card as he takes on battle-tested Minnesotan Sona Akale (9-2, 4 KOs) in a 6-round super welterweight bout. Ingram looks to maintain his undefeated record following impressive showings at MVP 6 and MVP 8.
Also returning to the series is MVP fan favorite and 3x US national champion Alexis “Chop Chop” Chaparro (4-0, 4 KOs). The Puerto Rican phenom and high-fashion model continues his fast-paced rise in a 6-round middleweight bout, having secured three knockout wins across MVP events in 2024 and a recent TKO win in the Dominican Republic.
Other must-watch matchups on the preliminary card include:
- Reina Tellez (11-0-1, 5 KOs) vs. Maria “Polvorita” Salinas (27-11-6, 7 KOs) in an 8-round bantamweight battle. Tellez, a dual NABF titleholder, looks to continue her rise through the ranks.
- Sebastian Juarez (7-0, 5 KOs) vs. Shaquille Cameron (7-4, 6 KOs) in a 6-round super welterweight bout.
- Chavez Barrientes (10-0, 6 KOs) vs. Sharone “Smoke” Carter (14-11-1, 3 KOs) in a super bantamweight test over 8 rounds.
