LAS VEGAS – UFC® Fight Night returns to the APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 31, with a marquee flyweight showdown that could determine the next title challenger. No. 3 ranked contender Erin Blanchfield faces surging No. 4 Maycee Barber in a pivotal main event with major title implications.
Broadcast live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, with full coverage also on ESPN+ in both English and Spanish, the action kicks off with prelims at 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET, followed by the main card at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.
Blanchfield Eyes Gold
Erin Blanchfield (13-2), fighting out of Elmwood Park, New Jersey, has emerged as a dominant force in the UFC’s flyweight division. Still just 25 years old, “Cold Blooded” has notched signature wins over former champions Rose Namajunas and Jéssica Andrade, showcasing elite grappling and an unshakable composure. A win over Barber could solidify her position as the next woman in line for a shot at the 125-pound title.
Barber’s Breakout Moment?
Maycee Barber (14-2), representing Sacramento, California, looks to extend her win streak and leapfrog her way to a title shot. A Contender Series alum, Barber has built a reputation with aggressive, crowd-pleasing performances against top-tier competition, including Katlyn Cerminara, Amanda Ribas, and Andrea Lee. She enters the bout with the goal of proving she is the rightful No. 1 contender in the division.
Co-Main: Gamrot vs. Klein Promises Fireworks
In the co-main event, lightweight veteran and No. 7 contender Mateusz Gamrot (24-3, 1 NC) returns to action against surging Slovakian striker Ludovit Klein (23-4-1). Known for his wrestling and cardio, Gamrot has shared the cage with the likes of Rafael Dos Anjos and Arman Tsarukyan. Now he faces a red-hot Klein, who brings a seven-fight unbeaten streak and a balanced arsenal of knockouts and submissions. This is a crucial test for both men—Gamrot wants to maintain his Top 10 status, while Klein aims to crack the rankings for the first time.
