In a blockbuster announcement made earlier today in New York City, MVP also revealed the signing of undefeated Mexican sensation Yolanda “Pitayita” Vega (10-0, 1 KO), who will face Holm in a 10-round lightweight showdown on Saturday, June 28, at Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

Holm, widely regarded as the greatest two-sport athlete in combat sports history, makes her return to the boxing ring for the first time in over a decade. A former three-division world champion in boxing and the first athlete ever to capture world titles in both boxing and MMA, Holm’s legacy is etched in the sport’s history books. Best known for her stunning head-kick knockout of Ronda Rousey in 2015 to win the UFC bantamweight title, Holm’s accolades in the ring are equally staggering: 18-time world champion across super lightweight, welterweight, and super welterweight divisions.
