Hulu and ESPN Announce New Unscripted Fight Competition Series From Jake and Logan Paul

Hulu and ESPN are teaming up with Wheelhouse and Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) for a new unscripted combat-sports competition series executive produced by Jake Paul and Logan Paul.

The currently untitled “Paul Brothers Fight Competition Series” is scheduled to be available on Hulu and ESPN, with casting now open and production slated for 2027.

Those interested in competing can apply through Fight Game Casting at www.fightgamecasting.com.

Eliminations Will Be Settled in the Fight

The new series will put a different spin on the traditional competition-show format. Rather than contestants being eliminated through votes, competitors will have to fight for their place in the competition.

According to the series synopsis, fighters will be divided into rival teams coached by Jake and Logan Paul. The competitors will live and train together in the wild, creating an environment where physical preparation, strategy and team dynamics all play a role.

But the competition won’t simply be about stepping into the fight.

The fighters themselves will choose their opponents, meaning alliances and rivalries could become strategic weapons as competitors determine who they want to face.

Jake and Logan Paul will ultimately send the losers of each fight home, with the competition continuing until one man and one woman remain to claim victory.

“This series takes everything we love about competitive combat and turns it into a high-stakes survival spectacle for today’s audiences,” Jake and Logan Paul said. “You choose your opponent, fight to stay, and have nowhere to hide. The fighter-first mentality is changing the industry; we can’t wait to see who has what it takes.”

MVP Continues Expanding Into Combat Sports Entertainment

For Most Valuable Promotions co-founder and executive producer Nakisa Bidarian, the project represents another expansion of MVP’s efforts to connect combat sports with new audiences.

“This project is the latest step forward for MVP as we continue to disrupt sports and entertainment with high-impact, innovative opportunities that define the future of combat sports,” Bidarian said.

He added that MVP has long believed there is an opportunity to bring new audiences into combat sports through stories centered around the athletes.

“We’ve always believed there is a major, untapped market to bring new audiences into combat sports by telling compelling stories around the athletes, and this format takes that idea to another level,” Bidarian said.

Bidarian also highlighted the partnership between MVP, Wheelhouse, Hulu and ESPN as an opportunity to introduce a new generation of fighters to a broad audience.

“Partnering with Wheelhouse, Hulu and ESPN to bring our vision to life gives us an incredible platform to introduce the next generation of fighters and create a competition unlike anything fans have seen before,” he said.

Wheelhouse and MVP Team Up

Wheelhouse CEO and executive producer Brent Montgomery said the series represents the type of high-concept project his company was created to develop.

“Wheelhouse was created for moments like this, bringing a high concept to life with massive stars who create bold new content, unmistakably their own, that connects authentically with their fans,” Montgomery said.

“With Disney, MVP and the Paul brothers, we are well equipped to build out singular IP that can live across multiple platforms, and beyond the screen.”

The series is being produced by Wheelhouse and Most Valuable Promotions.

Executive producers include Brent Montgomery, Glenn Hugill and Courtney White for Wheelhouse; Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul for MVP; and Logan Paul, Will Nothacker, Shyam Balse, Josie Lamberth and Charlie Ebersol.

Casting Now Open

With production planned for 2027, the first step for prospective competitors is already underway.

Casting is currently open for the series, giving aspiring fighters an opportunity to compete in a format that combines combat sports with strategy, team dynamics and reality competition.

The series will ultimately determine a male and female champion through a process in which competitors must fight to remain in the competition rather than relying on traditional elimination votes.

As combat sports continues to expand beyond traditional fight promotions and into new forms of sports entertainment, the Paul brothers’ latest project will bring a new group of fighters into the spotlight — with every matchup potentially carrying the consequences of elimination.
