Canadian standout joins MVP’s growing elite roster to pursue undisputed title at 118 lbs
NEW YORK, NY – June 11, 2025 – Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) continues its mission to elevate elite talent and women’s boxing worldwide with the signing of undefeated IBO bantamweight world champion Amanda Galle (11-0-1, 1 KO). The Mississauga, Ontario native becomes the latest Canadian star to join MVP’s powerhouse roster, alongside lightweight standout Lucas Bahdi and two-time Olympian Tamm Thibeault.
A decorated athlete and inspiring figure both in and out of the ring, Galle brings a deep résumé and incredible resilience to the MVP stable. The three-time Canadian national amateur champion currently holds the IBO bantamweight title, which she captured in December 2023 with a win over Niorkis Carreno and successfully defended in their rematch one year later.
Raised in a tight-knit Italian family, Galle began martial arts at six and earned her black belt in karate by age 11. Under the mentorship of longtime coach Vito Brancaccio, she also trained in boxing and kickboxing, making her amateur boxing debut at 16 with a first-round knockout. Galle won her first Canadian national boxing title in 2009 and claimed her second in 2013—just weeks after her mother was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer.
After a brief hiatus to support her mother’s battle and address her own mental health, Galle returned stronger than ever, winning a third national title in 2018 before turning pro in 2019. She tallied six straight victories, paused her career again during the COVID-19 pandemic to prioritize family, and returned in late 2021 to continue her winning streak.
In one of her most emotional moments, Galle won the Canadian super bantamweight title in March 2022 and delivered the belt to her mother’s bedside just before her passing. Since then, Galle has remained active and focused, picking up big wins including a TKO over Luz Elena Gerardo Martinez and her world title triumph against Carreno.
Now officially part of MVP’s diverse and dynamic roster, Galle is ready to take the next step—unifying the 118lb division.
“I’m thrilled to be working with MVP, the most powerful promotional team in women’s boxing,” said Galle. “MVP is making the biggest moves in the sport right now and I can’t wait to see what they do for me in this next chapter of my career. I am coming for all the belts in the bantamweight division.”
MVP co-founders Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian shared their excitement:
“Amanda Galle’s accomplishments and resilience in and out of the ring speak for themselves. We are proud to welcome her to MVP and continue to strengthen our investment in Canada’s elite boxing talents. We look forward to empowering Amanda on the next stage of her pro journey in the 118lb division as we continue to elevate women’s boxing globally.”
Galle also serves as an ambassador for Fight To End Cancer, organizing community bootcamps to raise funds for cancer research. A graduate of Ryerson University in early childhood education, she’s deeply involved with youth development through her gym and mentorship.
Galle joins a stacked MVP roster that includes Jake “El Gallo” Paul, Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner, Holly Holm, Shadasia Green, Dina Thorslund, Savannah Marshall, Chantelle Cameron, Ellie Scotney, Shurretta Metcalf, Jennifer Miranda, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Neeraj Goyat, Krystal Rosado, Alexis “Chop Chop” Chaparro, Jan Paul Rivera, Tamm Thibeault, Alexander Gueche, Elizabeth Oshoba, Ramla Ali, Naomy Valle, Nat “No Love” Dove, Keno Marley, Yolanda “Pitayita” Vega, Avious Griffin, and Yankiel Rivera.
