NEW YORK, NY – June 16, 2025 — Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) has officially added another powerful force to its growing stable of elite athletes with the signing of undefeated WBA lightweight world champion Stephanie Han (10-0, 3 KOs).

A proud El Paso native and Korean-American, Han is far more than a boxing champion—she is a decorated police officer, a devoted mother of two (including a daughter diagnosed with the rare Nicolaides-Baraitser Syndrome), a former beauty pageant competitor, and now, one of the most inspiring stories in combat sports.

Signing with Most Valuable Promotions is a dream realized! I’m honored to join a team that’s not just shaping the future of women’s boxing, but fighting for it,” said Han. “With MVP behind me, I’m more ready than ever to rise, represent, and make history.”

Han’s boxing journey began in 2006 as an amateur before she stepped away from the sport in 2011. A decade later, she made a triumphant return—motivated in part by helping her sister, former IBF featherweight champion Jennifer Han, prepare for a bout with Katie Taylor. In 2021, Stephanie returned to the ring with a dominant unanimous decision win over Isabel Garcia and never looked back. She captured the vacant WBA lightweight title in electrifying fashion with a knockout victory over Hannah Terlep earlier this year.

Most recently, Han made headlines when she stood face-to-face with current IBF lightweight champion Beatriz “The Beast” Ferreira at MVP’s Most Valuable Prospects 13 Championship Edition on June 7, where the pair verbally agreed to a future high-stakes unification bout. That matchup now looms larger under the MVP banner.

Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of MVP, praised Han’s multifaceted story:

“Stephanie Han is a powerful role model who proves that with hard work, resilience, and heart, anything is possible,” said Paul and Bidarian in a joint statement. “From serving her community as a police officer to raising awareness for her daughter and NCBRS, to competing in beauty pageants—all while dominating in the ring—Stephanie exemplifies excellence across every arena. We’re proud to welcome her to the MVP family.”

Han joins a remarkable roster that continues to redefine the boxing landscape. MVP is home to some of the sport’s most dominant names, including Amanda Serrano, Alycia Baumgardner, Savannah Marshall, Chantelle Cameron, Holly Holm, and recent additions like Amanda Galle, Cherneka Johnson, and Shurretta Metcalf.

With MVP’s growing platform and global reach, Han is set to not only defend her title but to further elevate her message—one of strength, perseverance, and representation—on the biggest stage in women’s boxing.
